The electronic declarations of naming and baptism of minors are now available on gov.gr.

The declaration of naming needs to be submitted jointly by both parents. Any parent or guardian can register electronically the baptism of a minor.

The declaration of naming needs to be submitted jointly by both parents. With the approval of the second parent, the declaration is received electronically by the Registrar of the Municipality where the child's birth was declared and proceeds with the naming.

After the processing is completed, the updated registry deed is sent electronically to your Inbox at gov.gr.

Declaration of baptism

Any parent or foster parent can register electronically the baptism of a minor, following the same procedure. The Registrar registers it in the same way and the citizen is informed accordingly.
