If you serve in the Armed Forces and have submitted or accepted a candidacy for election as a Member of Parliament, an MEP, a Regional Governor or a Mayor, you can apply to be temporarily discharged.

When to apply:
The application can be submitted at any time after the day following the date on which your nomination as candidate is served to the president of the competent court.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• certificates or attestations of the competent judicial or other authority in relation to your candidacy
