You can apply to the competent draft board authority to assess your situation if you have not complied with either:

• your obligations subject to any legal provision on military drafting, other than your obligation to enlist as a result of force majeure or insurmountable obstacles
• or your obligation to enlist in the armed forces, due to exceptional reasons and reasons of force majeure or insurmountable obstacles

When to apply:

The application and the supporting documents need to be submitted to the competent draft board authority within a period of six (6) months from the date on which you were required to comply with your obligation.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• a formal declaration, in which you need to invoke the reasons of force majeure, insurmountable obstacles, or other exceptional reasons
• any evidence showing the fortuitous, unforeseeable, unavoidable and exceptional event which has made or makes impossible or excessively difficult to comply with the obligations imposed by the laws on military service, as well as the duration of such an event
