If you are a student, you can apply for postponement of your conscription in the Armed Forces, due to your undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a university, at an advanced school or at a post-secondary education centre.

When to apply:
From 1 January of the year you have reached the age of 19 to the date on which you are required to enlist in the armed forces.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• a certificate/attestation of the current academic or school year, issued by your faculty or school
• a certificate of enrolment on a post-secondary education centre (KEME), if you are studying at a KEME
