You can issue an extract of a death registration certificate, if you are or were at any time, registered in the same record as the deceased.

You will need your personal Taxisnet credentials.

Issue immediately online
Online available are the extracts of the registry deeds that have been issued:

• from 2013 onwards
• earlier and those that changed and/or for which an extract was issued from 2018 onwards
• since 22.01.2018, if such deeds relate to events that took place abroad and have been duly declared to the Athens Special Registry

For these certificates issued by the municipal registry office, select "Log in to the service ".

Issue at a later date through KEP / Municipality

All extracts and full registry deeds, regardless of their year of issue, are available at a later date, via an electronic application at any KEP or at the Registry Office of the Municipality where the event occurred.

When the registry deed by the KEP / Municipality is issued, it will be sent to your Inbox and you will be notified by e-mail and text message (sms). For these cases, select "Application to a KEP / Municipality".

Alternatively, you have the option to book an online appointment on myKEPlive so as to be served by an employee of the Citizens' Service Centres (KEP) via video conference.
