Pet owners can report the death of your pet through the digital pet death notification service.

To log in to the pet death notification service, you will need your personal taxisnet codes.

The authorized employees of the Municipalities also have access to the digital service of announcing the death of a companion animal.

Upon request from citizens, you can submit the pet death declaration on their behalf.

You will need either:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials, if you own a pet
• Public Administration Codes, if you are an employee of a municipality

You will also need to fill in the following information:

• animal microchip code, selected from the list of animals of the owner or sponsor declared as lost
• date of death
• cause of death
• location of death

The notification of death of a pet animal is registered as a document, has its safety featuresgov.grand the owner can either send it electronically or print it out and submit it on paper. In its printed form it does not need to be validated and is confirmed by theapply valid documents of gov.gr.
