If you are the legal representative of a trade union or an employers' organisation, you can submit the online application for entering the general registers of Employees' Trade Unions (GEMISOE) and of Employers' Organisations (GEMIOE).
The application may also be submitted by a person specifically authorised by the organisation's legal representative.

Once the application has been submitted, it will be approved or rejected on the basis of its completeness.
If the application is approved, you will receive by email the credentials for accessing the information system of the respective register. With these credentials you can:

• update/correct the information in the electronic record of your organisation, or
• remove your organisation from the respective register

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials - for initially submitting the application for registration of your organisation
• the credentials that will be sent to you once your registration has been approved - for updating the details of the organisation

The registration in the GEMISOE:

• replaces the obligation to register the employees' trade unions in the special book of trade unions of the competent Courts of First Instance
• attributes legal personality to organisations set up on or after 01.01.2022

Organisations exempt from the obligation to register are:

• seafarers' organisations
• police officers' organisations
• organisations of civil personnel of the National Intelligence Service (NIS)
• organisations of military personnel and of Joint Corps
