The ESPA Integrated Information System (IIS-ESPA) system is used for registering:

• data from the operational programmes of the National Strategic Reference Framework (ESPA) for the 2014-2020 programme period
• data on the programmes of the 2014-2021 European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEAGrants), the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD), the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for Displaced Workers (EGF), the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Internal Security Fund

The system is mainly aimed at programme and action management bodies, as well as the beneficiaries of such actions.

Verification/certification and audit bodies and coordinating services are involved in the management and control of such actions.
