If you have received training from the "Basic Principles in Food Hygiene and Safety" Level-1 programme from implementing bodies, you can be assessed by an examination by the Hellenic Food Authority (EFET).

You will need to fill in:

• the protocol number of your training certificate
• your TIN number
• the TIN number of the organisation implementing the training programme you attended
• your e-mail address

The examination lasts 24 minutes and includes 12 mandatory questions. You are allowed up to two (2) errors in your answers.

After submitting your answers, the result of the exam is displayed immediately and you can print it out.

The EFET will then send you the "Certificate of Successful Food Handler Training Level -1" by email to the address you have provided.

The exam does not have a specific period, you can take the exam whenever you wish.
