This electronic register is used for private recreational vessels flying the Greek flag, commercial recreational vessels regardless of their flag, and professional tourist day ships.

In this way:

• the procedures related to the operation of tourist ships and small craft are being digitised, such as the issuing of professional licences
• bureaucratic processes are being streamlined or even eliminated
• the procedures for chartering professional recreational craft and professional tourist day ships are being simplified
