You can apply for a special “category 1” transponder, repeat-beacon licence to the competent regional service (APY), provided that you are the president of the Radio amateur Association or the natural person legally authorised for this purpose.

You need to:

• fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
• issue and pay the applicable fee through the app e-paravolo (fee code 5124)
• enter the payment number of the electronic fee
• attach formal declaration for lawful installation and proper operation of the station
• attach formal declaration that all necessary permits and authorisations have been secured and comply with the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility;
• attach a document with the detailed station location description
• attach a permit of the site owner and the tissue allowing the installation of the retraction/radio beacon
• attach the maintenance plan for the retractable/radio beacon and substantiate the necessity of its operation
• attach the current statutes of the radio amateur club and any decisions of the Board of Directors

You will be notified by email of the status of your application from the APY.
