You can manage the digital files of your photo and signature as uploaded by a professional photographer.
To do that, you must have automatically received a code number, by text message (sms) or email, after your visit to a professional photographer. The code number is also provided in the form of a Quick Response Code (QR Code).
The above files can, if you wish, be used in electronic applications and services provided by public sector bodies when you are required to present a photograph or to sign documents for processing your cases.

In particular, the digital file of the visual display of the handwritten signature of each natural person can be used exclusively during the process of issuing and renewing a driving licence.

You will need to enter:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials (after first registering in the National Communication Register (EMEP), in order to confirm your mobile phone number)
• your Tax Identification Number (AFM)
• the code number you automatically received by text message (sms) or email after your visit to a professional photographer

The procedure

• Log in to the application portal and enter the code number sent to you or scan the QR code.
• Preview the uploaded files and approve or reject them accordingly.
• After their approval, you may associate them with your Tax Identification Number (AFM).
• Via the application and upon express consent, you can give access to electronic applications and services provided by public sector bodies to retrieve the associated photograph and signature files. The digital file of your signature can only be used during the process of issuing and renewing your driving licence.

Retention period of records
Digital files that have not been associated with your Tax Identification Number (AFM) are deleted from the system within two (2) weeks from the date the message with the code number was sent.
The digital files associated with your Tax Identification Number (AFM) are kept in the system for a period of one year.

Management of files and authorisation from the application

At any time you can:

• dissociate the digital files from your Tax Identification Number (AFM). However, the code number remains available and you can associate it again with your Tax Identification Number (AFM) within one year from the date of the initial association.
• Revoke the authorisation you gave to an electronic application or public sector service.
• View your authorisations history.
