Natural persons can apply for an intangible digital debit card, which you can use for specific categories of costs (local transport, catering and accommodation) in the affected areas of Thessaly and Evros for the months of July-August, September-October and November-December 2024. This action aims to financially support tourism activity in these areas.
Necessary conditions:
- you must be an adult natural person who is unmarried or married or in a state of widowhood or persons who have entered into a registered partnership, tax residents of Greece, based on the last cleared income tax return of natural persons for the tax year 2022. Especially for married persons or persons who have entered into a registered partnership, the beneficiary is the person liable to submit the income tax return or one of the two, in the case of a separate return.
- not be beneficiaries - beneficiaries under the Social Tourism Programme 2023-2024 of the DYPA, the Social Tourism Programme of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) for the period 2024-2025, regardless of whether the above benefits are ultimately used or not, or a related benefit from any other body for the same period, and not have yourself or your beneficiaries as principal place of residence in Evia on the basis of the last cleared income tax return of natural persons for the tax year 2022.
You will need:
- your personal Taxisnet credentials
- Fill in and confirm your contact details and, in particular, your email address and mobile phone number.
Applications are submitted for all phases from Tuesday 25/6/2024 until Friday 28/6/2024.
The phases are divided into the following periods:
- Phase 1 (July-August): possibility to use the intangible digital card until 31/8/2024.
- Phase 2 (September - October): possibility to use the intangible digital card until 31/10/2024.
- Phase 3 (November - December): possibility to use the intangible digital card until 31/12/2024.
The action is divided into three distinct programmes/destinations:
- ‘ThessalyPassA 2024’ concerning the Municipalities of South Pelion and Zagora Mouresi, and the Municipal Units of Agria, Portaria, Artemis and Makrinitsis in the Municipality of Volos,
- ‘ThessalyPassB 2024’ concerning the Municipalities of Lake Plastira, Agia, Tempi, Pyli (except the Municipal Units of Gomfo and Pialia) and Meteora; and
- ‘EvrosPass 2024’ concerning the Municipality of Soufli and the Municipal Unit of Feres in the Municipality of Alexandroupolis.
- Beneficiaries may apply only for one of the above three programmes/pass and for one or more phases, but may only become beneficiaries, by drawing lots, for one programme in one phase of the programme they have selected.
The number and amount of dematerialised digital debit cards per eligible programme/destination and per phase is determined as follows:
- Phase 1: "ThessalyPassA 2024" 7,000 cards of 100€ / "ThessalyPassB 2024" 3,000 cards of 150€ / "EvrosPass 2024" 1,000 cards of 200€
- Phase 2: "ThessalyPassA 2024" 7,000 cards of 100€ / "ThessalyPassB 2024" 3,000 cards of 150€ / "EvrosPass 2024" 2,000 cards of 200€
- Phase 3: "ThessalyPassA 2024" 7,000 cards of 180€ / "ThessalyPassB 2024" 3,000 cards of 180€ / "EvrosPass 2024" 2,000 cards of 220€
Any remaining amounts of Phase 1 shall be transferred to Phase 3, increasing the number of dematerialised digital debit cards for that phase. Beneficiaries will be drawn by the implementing body after the expiry of the deadline for submission of applications, the results of which will be posted on the programme's website.
