Electronic press businesses can manage your registration in the Electronic Press Register upon request of their legal representative.
In particular, you can:

  • register for the first time
  • renew your annual registration
  • notify any changes oncerning your businesses 
  • re-register after previous deletion

Entry in the register requires you to meet cumulatively the conditions related to the type of business.
Once you have been included in the register, you will be able to place advertisements and other listings from the public sector and general government bodies on your websites, web pages and blogs. You will also be entitled to participate in state aid programmes for printed press.

For the first year of operation of the Registrer, applications to obtain certification shall be submitted from 2.5.2023 to 14.7.2023 inclusive.

First registration or re-registration
Your registration or re-registration can take place between 1 and 31 March of each year.
For the first registration or the re-enrolment you will need to:

  • fill in your personal or company passwords in Taxisnet
  • enter your business details
  • attach as appropriate supporting documents

The business receives certification within 30 days, for a complete file, otherwise a 10-day period is granted to the business to submit additional supporting documents.  Upon certification, a unique MHT number and mark are issued, which are posted on the homepage.

Renewal of registration

Renewal of your registration is annual and can be done between 1 and 31 May each year.
To renew your registration, you will need to:

  • fill in your personal or company passwords in Taxisnet
  • attach formal declaration that that you meet the necessary requirements

If it is found that the necessary conditions for renewal of your registration are not met, your company loses its certification and will not be re-registered for the next 2 years.

Notification of changes
Notification of any change that has occurred in information you have submitted to the registry for your business is made within 60 days of the change occurring. 
To notify changes to your business, you will need to:

  • fill in your personal or company passwords in Taxisnet
  • attach as appropriate supporting documents indicating the change made

If a failure to notify is detected, you will receive an email. You will need to update the register within 5 days. If this period has elapsed, your company loses its certification and will not be re-registered for the year following its deletion.

If you are not granted or renewed certification for your business, or if it is withdrawn, you have the right to lodge an objection within the 30-day period.
