You can request the advance payment of a sum of money against your future pension regardless of the processes for issuing the decision for your pension.
This relates to the following categories of main pensions:

• retirement pensions
• disability pensions
• pensions transferred due to the death of the pensioner

The amount of the advance is subject to conditions (age limits, working days, etc.).

The granting of an advance does not indicate a temporary or definitive retirement, nor does it constitute a pension decision.

This concerns citizens who submit a pension application to e-EFKA, including the former Seamen's Pension Fund (ΝΑΤ), and does not concern citizens who are entitled to or receive an advance pension according to article 57A of the Civil and Military Pensions Code.
