If you are a heir of a deceased pensioner whose main pension had been reduced in the period from June 2015 to May 2016, you can apply for the refund of the reduction sums.

The application can be filed by:

• any adult heir of the deceased
• the legal guardians of any minor heir

You will need to:

• file the application with all the necessary details and certificates by 21 December 2020
• (if you do not have all the required certificates) attach them online by 28 February 2021

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• your Social Insurance Number (AMKA)
• fill in the IBAN of your account
• a certificate of next of kin
• a certificate of non waiver of succession
• a certificate of non-publication of will

You only need to attach the certificate of non-publication of a will if there is no published will and only if such a certificate is issued by one of the following local courts (Irinodikeio) of:
Alexandroupolis, Argostoli, Atalanti, Valtos, Vonitsa, Gastouni, Giannitsa, Didymoteicho, Drama, Epidaurus of Limira, Heraklion, Thassos, Ikaria, Istiaia, Kavala, Kalambaka, Kalavria, Kalymnos, Karlovasi, Karpathos, Karystos, Kassandra, Kastelli Pediadas, Kilkis, Konitsa, Kythira, Kos, Lefkada, Moires, Myrtountia, Naxos, Nea Moudania, Nikaia, Orestiada, Paggaio, Platamoda, Polykastro, Pylos, Pyrgos in Crete, Rethymno, Rhodes, Salamima, Samaia, Sikyon, Skydra, Spetses, Taminea and Trikala.
