If you are a working mother, you can request a special leave of up to six months to raise your child, by applying to the Public Employment Service (DYPA), as long as:
- you are insured with e-EFKA
- you are employed in businesses or holdings in the private sector under an employment relationship, of a fixed or indefinite term, full or part-time
This leave is granted by your employer after the end:
- of the pregnancy and puerperium leave
- of a leave period corresponding to your part-time employment scheme
- of the regular annual leave, as long as it is granted within the set deadlines.
