The National Blood Donor Register introduces modern and friendly procedures for both blood donors and the country's blood donation services by issuing a volunteer blood donor ID.

It also contributes to increasing the safety of blood and its derivatives.

If you are a volunteer blood donor with an account at the Register, you can:

• view your blood donation history
• update your contact details so that Blood Donation Services can easily locate you
• apply online for issuing a volunteer blood donor ID
• receive reminders when the time for your next blood donation has passed
