You can apply for an exemption from your military service obligation if you are the father of three or more living children.

When to apply:

• if you are a conscript, from the call for enlistment until the date of your enlistment in the Armed Forces. If the application is submitted at a later date, the exemption is granted if the conditions related to your person were met on the date of your enlistment
• if you are a private soldier, at any time after you enlistment
• if you are a draft evader or a deserter: after the discontinuation of your evasion or desertion

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• a certificate for military use issued by your municipality and attesting your family status, and a court decision in the case of judicial declaration of parentage..
