You can apply for postponement of your conscription in the Armed Forces if:

• you are legally outside the Armed Forces
• you have a brother who is obliged to enlist during the same month, regardless of the service branch and the date on which you or your brother are required to enlist for military service (even if your brother is a draft evader, as long as he has discontinued the draft evasion).

When to apply:
The supporting documents need to be submitted from the date of issue of the call-up decision until the date on which you are called to enlist in the Armed Forces. If these documents are submitted at a later date, the enlistment postponement is only granted if the conditions applied on the date of enlistment.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• a family status certificate for military use
• a formal declaration of your serving brother
