If you are a professional or amateur breeder you must submit an online application for registration to the Register of Professional and Amateur Breeders providing the necessary data and supporting documents. The Register is part of the National Register of Companion Animals.

The persons required to register with the Register are:

• professional breeders of dogs and cats
• amateur breeders of dogs and cats

You will need:

• the Taxisnet credentials of the legal or natural person for registration, update or deletion from the Register
• the personal Taxisnet credentials of the legal representative for updating or deleting from the Register

Specifically, through the application you can:

• Subscribe to Register
• update your registration
• unsubscribe from Register
• create and apply for breeding of a female dog or cat

The registration process takes place in stages:

1. Application for registration: Enter the necessary information. At this stage, your application can be saved and re-processed until it is finally submitted.
2. Assessment of application: After the final submission, the application is evaluated in a second time and you can see the result of the evaluation through the application. You will also be sent an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided in the application.

If the application is fully approved, your registration in the Register is completed. The information posted on the Register is publicly accessible.
