Get an exemption from the mobile telephony subscribers' fee

If you are between 15 and 29 years old, you are entitled to an exemption from mobile and prepaid telephony fees, by applying for registration in the Register of Beneficiaries of Fee Exemptions for Mobile Telephony Subscribers and Prepaid Telephony (MiDATe).

You can log in to the service with your personal Taxisnet credentials and file your application. For beneficiaries who are minors, the application is filed by their guardian.

To file your application for registration you will need to enter:

  • your Social Insurance Number (AMKA) or PAAYPA (Temporary Number of Insurance and Healthcare for Foreigners)
  • the AMKA or PAAYPA of the beneficiary in case of a minor under your care
  • the mobile phone number to be exempted from fees
  • the mobile operator on whose network the mobile phone to be exempted operates

To verify the use of your registered mobile phone number, you will receive an one-time code via SMS to this number.

To replace the declared mobile phone number, you need to delete your submitted application and file a new one.

The contact details you enter in your application serves as a formal declaration.
