Those affected by the floods that occurred in September 2023 can apply online for a temporary accommodation grant.

The subsidy applies if your main residence either:

• has been declared temporarily unfit or dangerous to use or dangerously dilapidated or totally destroyed or built of substandard materials
• it has been placed in 'Category C' for the granting of one-off emergency financial assistance and has not been declared temporarily unfit for use, dangerous for use, built of dilapidated materials, dangerously dilapidated or totally destroyed

A condition for the grant is that you or your family members who lived with you in the affected dwelling do not have another empty or secondary dwelling within 25 km of the affected dwelling.

You will need to fill in:

• your Taxisnet credentials 
• the details of the building affected (address, use, energy supply number, status of suitability for use, etc.)
• the details of the persons living with you (first name, Patron and Tax Identification Number (AFM))
• your bank account number (IBAN)
