You can to apply to receive a digital tachograph driver's card, in relation to:

• first issuing
• renewal
• replacement due to loss
• replacement due to theft

Card issuance requirements

The service is available if you:

• normally reside in Greece
• have a valid Greek driving licence of one of the categories BE, C1, C1E, C, CE, D1, D1E, D, or DE

You will need to:

• enter your personal Taxisnet credentials
• attach your photograph and a sample of your signature
• issue and pay the appropriate electronic fee through the e-fee application (fee code: 0041 or 0045, only in case you have lost your card twice or more)
• enter your details and e-mail address

Collect your card

You or your authorised representative can collect your card by visiting the Directorate for Transport and Communications of the regional unit you selected when applying.

When receiving the card, and on a case-by-case basis, you need to produce:

• a registration certificate if you are a citizen of an EU member state
• a residence permit if you are a non-EU citizen
• a certified photocopy of the theft statement, if you have applied for the card to be replaced due to theft
