If you are a natural person wishing to issue an approved electronic signature certificate (digital certificate) of the Hellenic Public Administration Certification Authority (APED), one of the process steps is that you need to issue a formal declaration. You will need:

• to enter either your personal internet banking credentials or your personal Taxisnet credentials (after registering first in the National Communication Register (EMEP), to confirm your mobile phone number)
• your mobile phone number, to which the confirmation codes will be sent before the document is issued

The process of obtaining a digital certificate should then continue with the filing of the electronic application to the APED.
