If you are a Greek citizen and permanently or temporarily reside outside Greece on the day of the parliamentary elections, of the European Parliament elections or of a national referendum, you can vote, as long as you:

• have an active right to vote
• are registered in the electoral rolls
• register in the special electoral rolls for Greeks residents abroad

To register in the special electoral rolls of voters living abroad, you need to:

• have resided in Greece for a total of 2 years, in the last 35 years from the date of filing the application
• have filed an income tax return in the current or the previous tax year
