You can print a vehicle tax clearance and use it for:

• transferring the ownership of a vehicle
• exporting a vehicle abroad
• re-registering a vehicle

The certificate is issued for your exclusive use and is valid until 31 December of the year of issue.

You will need your personal Taxisnet credentials.

You will not be able to issue an electronic vehicle tax clearance certificate if:

• You are exempt from payment of vehicle tax (this applies to vehicles for disabled persons, to refuse collection vehicles owned by local government organisations (LGOs), to ambulances owned by hospitals, etc.). The certificate will be issued by the competent Tax Office (DOY).
• If you owe vehicle tax for the period you own the vehicle. You will need to pay the debt to the competent Tax Office (DOY).
• If you are currently the owner of a vehicle you had previously transferred (in whole or in part).
