The EU-wide voluntary scheme offering fruit, vegetables and milk to school pupils aims to encourage good eating habits among young people.
With the application, the management of the programme becomes particularly simple. It can be accessed by:
- the companies that deliver fruit, vegetables and milk to schools
- the schools that receive them
- the plant protection centres and the Directorates of Rural Economy and Veterinary Medicine (DAOK) that carry out inspections
- the Payment and Control Agency for Guidance and Guarantee Community Aid (OPEKEPE)
- the Ministries of Rural Development and Food and of Education and Religious Affairs, as supervisory bodies
