If you are the owner of a professional fishing vessel, you can apply for an extension of your fishing licence to include additional fishing gear.
You should first visit the competent port authority to apply for a certificate attesting the characteristics of your vessel.

The fishing gear you are allowed to use are:

• longlines: stationary longlines (LLS) / drifting longlines (LLD)
• nets: trammel nets (GTR), combination of trammel nets and gillnets (GTN), set gillnets (GNS)
• blow-lines: trawling lines (LTL), handlines and pole-lines (LHP), machine-assisted hand-lines/pole-lines (LHM), fishing net for smelt (GNS)
• fish pots (creels) – (FPO)
• fishing lamps

Please note that boat seines (SB) is not part of the fishing gear covered by the licence extension.

You will need to:

• fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
• attach the necessary supporting documents

Gradually, more regions will gradually be included in it.
