If you are the owner of a professional fishing vessel, you can apply for a decision from the competent regional directorate in relation to the renewal of your vessel's professional fishing licence, if you failed to have it renewed in time by a competent port authority.
You should first visit the competent port authority to apply for a certificate attesting the characteristics of your vessel.

The belated renewal of a vessel's licence is only permitted if:
there were reasons of force majeure or special circumstances that did not allow the timely renewal of the licence
no more than two (2) consecutive two-year periods have passed since the expiration date of the licence.

You will need to:

• enter your personal Taxisnet credentials
• enter your personal details (when using the service for the first time)
• fill in the application
• attach the required supporting documents (see them in the application form)
• select the way you will receive the decision

Upon submission, you will receive an email with the details of your application (reference number and application file) and the contact details of the competent regional directorate.

You will then be informed by e-mail about the outcome of the application and the document will be sent to you as you have chosen.

Currently, the service is available in the Regions of Attica and South Aegean. More regions will gradually be included in it.
