If you are a working mother, you can apply for maternity benefits from the Public Employment Service (DYPA), if:

• you are insured with e-EFKA
• you are actually working in the private sector under an employment relationship, at the start of the pregnancy leave and after childbirth
• you have received the e-EFKA benefit for your absence from work due to pregnancy and puerperium

The maternity benefits are calculated as the difference that results if you deduct from your earnings the allowance paid to you by EFKA for the same period.

You will need:

• either your personal Taxisnet credentials
• or your DYPA credentials
