You can search for both active and de-registered commercial enterprises that are obliged to register with the GEMI. The search can be done by typing either:

• the TIN
• the GEMI number
• the name of the enterprise
• the distinctive title or part of it

More advanced filters are also provided to search for an enterprise, such as its legal form, its status, its activity, etc., which help you to limit the volume of results.

The provided information that you can see about the company and after the search is:

• the GEMI number, the EUID, the distinctive titles and their history, the name in Latin characters, the TIN, the date of incorporation, the legal form, the current status, its contact details, as well as details of its website and e-shop,
• details of its capital, its activity and its management
• the financial data of the undertaking and its history of communications with the GEMI

You can download the search results locally as a pdf file. You can also save the contact details of the company as vCards (vcf files) so that they can be easily read by an e-mail application.

Finally it is possible to request and receive certificates/copies for the company after using the GEMI passwords.
