You can apply for a licence to transport vertebrate live animals (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians or fish) in the context of your economic activity in the EU. The licence applies to movements of more than 65 km and lasting more than 8 hours, as long as:

• you are based in Greece
• you have the necessary equipment
• you and your staff have been adequately trained to transport animals
• you or your representative have not seriously infringed the provisions of the EU or national legislation on the protection of animals during the last 3 years and have a vehicle licenced to transport the animals.

You will need to:

• enter your personal Taxisnet credentials
• attach the required supporting documents (see them by clicking the "Detailed description" link)

Once the processing has been completed, you will see the reply of the regional authority in Your Inbox. The reply bears all the validation features of gov.gr records (unique code, QR code, advanced electronic stamp) and can be used for any legal purpose.

All Greece's regions will be gradually included in the service.
