You can proceed with an application either to adopt a child or to become a foster parent.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• your e-mail address
• your Social Insurance Number (AMKA) and Tax Identification Number (AFM), as well as your spouse's/partner's AFM and AMKA, if you are married or you have entered into a registered partnership
• fill in the details of your usual residence
• fill in and attach the necessary supporting documents

In particular,

• if you are a married person, you can apply either for fostering or for adoption
• if you have entered into a registered partnership, you can only apply for fostering
• if you are a single, a widowed, or a divorced person, you can apply either for fostering or for adoption

Upon the final submission of your application, you will receive a registration number, with which you can track the progress of your application.
