If you have been affected by the September 2023 floods, you can apply for a repair permit for your property and receive housing assistance consisting of free government assistance or an interest-free loan, at a fixed price per square metre. 

The affected surfaces and/or installations may be:

  • residential buildings
  • auxiliary rooms of the dwelling (sanitary rooms and kitchens)
  • commercial buildings
  • enclosed public spaces, such as public utility rooms, sanitary facilities, sanitary appliances, sanitary installations, kitchen and bathrooms, etc.
  • livestock units
  • commercial warehouses
  • warehouses (other than commercial warehouses)
  • closed parking places (parking)
  • other use (e.g. enclosed areas within which premises are located)
  • installations (burner, circulator, hydraulic lift machinery room equipment)

The affected areas concerned by the application are:

  • Region of Attica, in particular Eastern Attica ιn particular the Regional Unit of East Attica, the Islands and the Southern Sector of Athens
  • Region of Thessaly (areas of all municipalities)
  • Region of Central Greece (areas of the regional unit of Evia and Fthiotida)
  • Region of Peloponnese and in particular the areas of the regional unit of Argolida)

You can submit the application either full or bare ownership.

You will need to:

  • fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
  • enter the details of the affected property (address, percentage of ownership, property deed number)
  • enter the details of the co-owners, if any (full name, patronymic, VAT number and percentage of co-ownership)
  • enter either the Census Form, the Re-inspection Form or the Report of Autopsy
  • enter a valid and active bank account number (IBAN) of which you are the sole or joint owner
  • attach the necessary supporting documents
