Participate in the subsidy programme for electric taxis (green taxis)

You can apply for a subsidy for the purchase or lease of an exclusively electric vehicle with zero CO2 emissions, by mandatorily (and simultaneously) de-registering an old commercial passenger vehicle (taxi). You can also be subsidised for the purchase and installation of a "smart" recharging point for electric vehicles.

You will need to:

  • enter your personal Taxisnet credentials
  • fill in the mandatory fields of the application and attach the necessary supporting documents

Beneficiaries are:

  • All owners (sole proprietorships or companies) of taxi vehicles (Euro 5 or older, in terms of compliance with emission standards). Owners are those who hold 100% of the vehicle registration licence. In the case of several shareholders on the licence (co-owners), the application needs to be submitted by all the beneficiaries.
  • Manufacturers/importers who wish to have their products listed as eligible chargers.

In case the licence is personal or belongs to more than one co-owner, the subsidy amount for the purchase or lease of an electric taxi vehicle is increased by up to 1,000 Euros, if:

  • the beneficiary is a person with disabilities
  • the family of the beneficiary has at least 3 dependent children
  • the beneficiary is up to 29 years old
The application submission period starts on 09.01.2023 and ends on 31.12.2023.
Each beneficiary (i.e. for each eligible Tax Identification Number (AFM)) is entitled to submit only one application per licence for a (CPV) taxi vehicle.

Your application will receive a unique digital code number and you will be informed electronically about its progress. In addition, you will be able to change details of your application or file an objection if it is rejected.

The subsidy amount will be credited to the bank account you will declare.
