You can apply for the establishment of a shipping company for recreational craft by registering the details of the shareholders and the board members, and customising the company's articles of association on the basis of the model document.

If you are the processor of the establishment you will need to:

• enter your personal Taxisnet credentials
• enter the trade sign of the company and reserve its name
• enter the details of the company
• attach the necessary supporting documents for the company, its shareholders and its Board of Directors
• issue and pay the applicable (e-fee ) (code 3033)

As a shareholder or member of the board of directors of the company, you will need to:

• digitally sign the establishment application by clicking on the link sent to you by email, by logging in to the application portal with your Taxisnet credentials (personal in the case of natural persons, and corporate in the case of legal persons).

The process
The process is initiated by the processor of the establishment (he/she may be one of the shareholders or any other duly authorised person).

The process is completed at a later stage by the competent department of the Directorate of Maritime Investments and Marine Tourism (DINETHAT) of the Ministry of Maritime and Insular Policy which examines and approves the company's articles of association.

When the process is completed, the details of the company are published in the Register of Shipping Companies for Recreational Crafts (NEPA) and the Certificate of Incorporation and Representation as well as the company's Articles of Association are made available on the public domain. The documents appear in the citizen's Inbox of the interested party and bear the security features of gov.gr.
