Non-EU citizens can submit a signed complaint to the Fundamental Rights Officer of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum if you consider that you are directly affected by actions or omissions by a public authority and that one or more of your fundamental rights have been violated.

You will need to fill in:

• your personal details
• information about the alleged violation of fundamental rights and attach any supporting material you have if you consider it necessary

The Fundamental Rights Officer of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum is responsible for the collection and preliminary assessment of complaints concerning alleged infringements of fundamental rights on entry into Greece, the reception of third-country nationals and the procedures for granting international protection in Greece. If the complaints are deemed admissible, it shall forward them to the National Transparency Authority or to the competent bodies on case-by-case basis, in accordance with the legislation in force and shall be kept informed of the progress of the complaints.
