You can apply to be examined by a military service exemption committee, if you are unable to enlist due to health reasons, after being called to a recruit training centre.

You will need:

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• a medical report issued by the garrison headquarters (or the local council of the municipality of your residence or the Special Military Committee based at the local Greek Consular Authorities) from which it can be concluded that the condition will last more than four (4) months
• your notice of conscription
• a formal declaration
• optionally, certificates or attestations from health institutions or a private doctor of a similar specialty, relating to your medical condition

Submission deadline:

The supporting documents need to be submitted within a period of five (5) days from the drafting of the report by the garrison headquarters or the local council, and within a period of fifteen (15) days from the drafting of the report of the Special Military Committee.
