You can apply to be transferred to the category of conscripts who are subject to a reduced term of military service obligation. Your term of military service can thus be either:

• six months
• or nine months

The information material sets out the conditions and the supporting documents necessary for a citizen to be transferred to the category of conscripts subject to reduced term of military service obligation.

When to apply:
At any time after your enlistment.
You will need your personal Taxisnet credentials and the supporting documents as required on a case-by-case basis.
