If you are a pupil, you can apply for postponement of your conscription in the armed forces, on the grounds that you are attending a secondary education school, an evening high school, a post-secondary year of studies, a Vocational Training School (IEK), or an apprenticeship class of a Vocational Upper Secondary School (EPAL) or a Vocational Training School SEK.
When to apply:
From 1 January of the year you have reached the age of 19 to the date on which you are required to enlist in the armed forces.
You will need:
- your personal Taxisnet credentials
- a certificate/attestation of the current academic or school year, issued by your faculty or school
