You can apply for postponement of your conscription in the Armed Forces if you are a conscript or a private soldier and you have submitted a candidacy for election as Member of Parliament, Member of the European Parliament (MEP), Regional Governor or Mayor.

When to apply:

You need to submit the supporting documents as follows:

• if you are a conscript, by the date you are required to enlist as a result of the end or suspension of your legal stay outside the Armed Forces. If these documents are submitted later, the enlistment postponement is only granted if the conditions applied on the date of enlistment.
• if you are a private soldier, on the date of submission or acceptance of your candidacy

• your personal Taxisnet credentials
• a certificate of the competent judicial or other authority
