If you own the pet and want to transfer your pet to a new owner, you can declare your intention to transfer the ownership so that you do not have to appear in person to the veterinarian who will carry out the transfer.

It will be necessary to:

• fill in your personal Taxisnet credentials
• enter as many details you and the animal are not pre-filled
• enter the details of the new owner (Tax Identification Number (AFM), name, contact telephone)
• enter the address of permanent residence of the new owner (country, region, regional unit, municipality, district, CC, street and number).

The declaration of intent of intention to transfer the ownership of your pet is registered as a document, has the security features of gov.gr and you can either send it electronically or print it out and submit it in paper form. The paper version does not require validation and is confirmed by the gov.gr document validity application.

In addition, it is possible for an employee of a municipality to declare an intention to transfer the pet at your request.
